PAK : visit to multiple project sites and Temporary Occupation Authorizations (AOTs) within the port domain in Mboro

On August 27th and 28th, 2025, Mr.Patrice Melom, the Director-General of the Kribi Port Authority (PAK) led a series of visits that highlighted the rich diversity of investments making the Kribi Port a leading logistics and industrial hub.

« Participating in these visits through my company, Komeyo Trade and Investment, which is actively involved in the zone’s development, was a privillege » argued Mr. Franck Ayinda, a project finance expert.

Furthermore, that company offers direct support to one of the key partners present on site, assisting them throughout their establishment process. This hands-on experience gave a deep, practical understanding of the opportunities and operational realities within the Kribi port area.



The projects visited included major players such as:

· SINOHYDRO/STECOL: Construction of a 225 KV power line.
· KAMLOG MAD: Logistics base and laminated packaging production unit.
· SODIPRACO: Agro-industrial site for processing and agricultural valorization.
· All Bitumen Cameroon PLC (ABC): Bituminous products activities.
· Africa Global Logistics (AGL): Integrated logistics and port services.
· CIMPOR: Industrial operations in the cement sector.
· …and several other technical groups and companies.

Each stop was an opportunity to assess: Work quality,progress levels, respect of contractual deadlines, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

With its vast 15,000-hectare area, the Kribi Port domain is a major asset for Cameroon’s economic development. These projects are already creating numerous direct and indirect jobs in construction, logistics, agro-industry, energy, and port services.

Through Komeyo Trade and Investment, it is possible to contribute to this dynamic, which is improving local living conditions and strengthening the national economy.
