During a concertation presided over on 22 Octobre 2025 by the Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel NGANOU DJOUMESSI, the company CETP Sarl, holder of the contract, was instructed to ensure traffic flow despite rainfall, and in the meantime, strengthen the coordination of the technical consulting firm (INGENIERIE CONSEIL/ARSUK Sarl consortium).
During the exchanges that were equally attended by the Road Fund Administrator and MINTP’s technical officials, other components of the project, whose first phase has been completed and accepted, were reviewed, notably hydraulic structures and the reshaping of the platform.Currently, works under phase 2 are 52.82 % executed against 54.17 % of time frame used. The Minister recommended the continuous mobilisation of teams in charge, traffic maintainance throughout the route and the keeping of rain gates functional.
